With this website my wife Sonet and I would like to introduce Carlo Engelbrecht Safaris to you and present all the fascinating possibilities that you can experience with us.

For five generations my family has been living in South Africa. Our ancestors originate from Northern Germany and came to Africa to establish Missionary stations which were named after their hometowns in Germany for example Augsburg, Braunschweig, Lüneburg and Wittenberg. In these still existing communities the local population is fully integrated. They take part in German church services and initiatives, like maintaining German schools and the preservation of the German cuisine. Through our celebrations of German heritage and festivals such as October fest and Beer fest we continue to maintain our prod German culture and way of life.

I grew up on a farm in close contact with nature and since childhood I was involved with hunting. After graduation I obtained my Nature Conservation Diploma and worked in different National Parks in South Africa where I gained great practical experience as a Game Ranger. As a freelance Professional Hunter I worked in Namibia as well as other parts of South Africa. I established “Carlo Engelbrecht Safaris” in 2000 and since then, together with my professional

team, have been arranging individual and exciting Safaris for clients from all parts of the globe. Whether your interests are in fishing, photo safaris, touring the vast country or hunting, we can assure an unforgettable adventure. Remo Engelbrecht: My brother Remo, our trained and experienced tour guide, knows the country like the back of his hand and offers to unlock an unforgettable and breathtaking South Africa for you. Remo will guide you to spectacular destinations, off the normal tourist paths, that you probably could dream of.	Reiner Engelbrecht: Reiner, an old friend of our family, is a licensed Professional Hunter with vast hunting experience with a variety of African game and will lead you on your African hunt.
Our Camp Staff: Gengi, Isaac, Zenzie, Lucky & Sizakele Are responsible for your everyday camp needs. They will attend to processing and preparation of your precious game trophies, laundry service, cooking and ensuring that your every need is met to give you an exclusive and memorable adventure and safari.
